Ravens dark cloak floated slightly in the wind. In one hand was her boyfriends' suitcase and the other, a bouquet of black roses. A small tear threatened to roll down her cheek. The pale girl hastily wiped it away and in result, stabbing herself in the eye with a rose thorn. 'Damn it,' she muttered, carefully rubbing her eye with the back of her hand.
Beastboy was going over a mental checklist of what he needed. Since he used to live in Africa, he didn't need much. Knowing the place forwards and backward helped a lot, "Raven, can you think of anything else that I would need?"
"You're asking the wrong empath." She replied, still rubbing her eye.
"Wha'd you do to your eye?"
"Umm...," Raven quick pulled the bouquet filled hand down to her side, "Nothing important."
Beastboy eyes her suspiciously then went back to his mental checklist. Going over it once more, he nodded in approval, "Well, Rae, I'm off to the airport."
"OOH!" The empath exclaimed running upstairs to her room. Beastboy questioned leaving but that would only piss her off, and he wanted to know what she had. When she returned, the violet eyed girl had a small trinket in her hand.
"Garfield, I want to give this to you." She held out a small necklace. The pendant was half of a yin-yang sign. It was mostly green, but the small dot was purple, "I wanted to remind you that everywhere you go, you always have a piece of me in you."
The pale girl took off her cloak to reveal that she had the other half of the yin-yang sign around her neck.
Tears started to well up in the green man's eyes. He loved Raven now more than he ever has in his life, "God, I love you, Raven." He then pulled her in for the most passionate, oogie-filled kiss ever.
"I love you too, Gar."

It was dark by the time Raven finally went inside. She had watched Beastboy drive away 5 hours ago. In her head, she expected him to come back. He would whip her up and he would kiss her. Now, he was for sure gone. She wouldn't see him for 4 months.
"I miss him!" Cyborg yelled. The mechanical man was draped over the couch. He looked like he could burst into tears at any moment. Jinx went and sat down next to him.
"We all do, Cy." Robin patted his friend on the back. He regretted sending Beastboy on that mission. It was cruel to the team and Raven.
"I think Raven misses him most," Starfire gestured to the curled up half-demon. She was reading a romance novel and eating chocolate. Small things were exploding left. One fist was clamped tightly shut. The necklace and engagement ring were inside it.
"Raven, stop reading that book before the tower explodes." Robin smiled jokingly
"Says the guy who is the root of my current state." Her monotone was eerie and patronizing
"Hey, we all miss beastboy."
"Well you're not engaged to him! I love beastboy! Before he left he asked me to marry him when he gets back. Do you think it was easy letting him go off for 4 months after he said that?! I sat on the driveway for 5 hours, waiting for him to come back and tell me it was all a joke! I know it isn't and I miss him. God dammit I miss the green bean!" Raven collapsed into tears. She was shaking so violently, Robin was afraid to approach her. He reached a hand out, then pulled it back.
The boy wonder walked out of the room with a small 'I'm sorry'.

Malchior ducked as a rock barely whizzed past his head. Terra's eyes were glowing yellow and she was surrounded in an aura of rock. Another boulder flew towards his face. Switching into dragon form, the sorcerer dodged the rock and flew towards the brat, "Now, Terra, calm down. Remember, the titans were the ones who shuned you in the first place."
This time, small bullets of rock came spiraling down at him, "It was my fault! I deserved it! You are just evil and I am going to kill you so the titans don't have to deal with you!"
So many rocks came at one that malchior couldn't dodge. One rock hit him square in the head and he tumbled to the ground. He switched into human form right before he was crushed.
Terra cringed as the deafining crack of bones filled her ears. She had never used her powers to kill anyone and she had never wanted to. What's done is done, though. He deserved it and he was gone. Terra walked away from the pile with a guilty satisfaction in her mind.

When beastboy arrived in Africa, it was like heaven. He remembered every little detail of his homeland, but he still was homesick. Living there was his true life. Now, Raven is his true life. As much as he loved being "home", he missed his Rae-Rae.
It took 2 hours to reach his destination. He hated traving by car, "I mean, I'm green. Who isn't going to notice that and not think something's up?" Beastboy eyed the ladybug he was talking to. It shifted slightly and flew away.
Sighing, Beastboy lazily walked off the bus. His eyes widened at the destruction of his village. HIS village. There was nothing left. All the little huts were reduced to rubble. The people had fled. It was deserted and sad. Beastboy wanted to rip whoever did this to shreds.
A firmliar laugh came from behind him. He whipped around and almost went into shock.
"No, no, it cant be, "Beastboy crouched down and put his head inbitween his knees. Slowly the beast in side him grew.
"Hello Beastboy," Malchior smiled, emerging from the rubble of the changelings village.

Raven had been on the roof for hours now. Beast boy sighed; What does she Do up there anyway, He thought, does meditating take that long? He glanced up at the clock: 4:43. Dammit, she's been out since two!
Why do YOU care? A voice piped up in his mind. I

"Whoo! Champion again, baby!"
Cyborg jumped up from the couch and threw a fist into the air. It was then that Beast Boy had an idea. He set his controller down and walked towards the hall. A confused look etched itself across Cyborg's face.
" Hey, B, you alright, man?"
"Yeah, dude, I'm fine, I've just got somethin'

A Little Perspective Chapter 5
Beast Boy made his way down the hallway, after his great escape from Raven's room. Damn, that was close. She almost caught me.
His feet made light thumping noises against the cool metal floors. The lights pulsed brightly into the hall. Down in the great room, the scents of dinner preparations drifted past- garlic, sage, and a sweet, earthy smell. Man, I'm starved.
Maybe we could go ask if Rae wants to come? No, no, she'll just get mad or something, maybe
What?
Without warning, a strong tingling sensation came over him, and a cold thrill rushed down his body. His fingertips buzzed, and then suddenly, he fell back as if he had colli

A Little Perspective Chapter 2
Raven walked towards the closet. Being an empath, she could sense emotions there: anxiety, anticipation
and then it was gone, dissipating into air. She did, however, catch a word, or more a feeling of a word, from the mess before it disappeared. Lavender
She shook her head. Meditating hadn't helped her today; she spent hours taking in the ocean breeze. But much like the roiling waves, her mind was loud with the crashing of her emotions. The subject of her troubles: a little green changeling, who wasn't so little anymore. He was now one of the tallest of the Titans, second only to Cyborg. He virtually towered over her now, his 6
